I am so saddened, and my heart is heavy by the loss of such a great man. Papa Ernie was one of a kind, a true treasure. I have so many wonderful memories of him…I’ll never forget all the lunches we shared together, his pet name for me (An Italian word that translated to something like Piggy) and Sean (Lil Sh*t), how he could convince me to eat anything – even blood sausage! His homemade pasta for my birthday dinner. His funny stories and sayings, his optimistic outlook on life in general – I truly loved him. The world was a much better place for almost 98 years because he was in it. My deepest and most sincere condolences to the entire Massimo family, love and peace to you all. ~Jenny
