Obituary of Kathryn Qualls

Kathryn "Tootsie" Qualls, 72, a resident of Barton Senior Residence in Zion, Illinois, died on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born March 15, 1937 in Harrisburg, Arkansas and moved to Zion at the age of 14. Survivors include her three children, Kathy (Larry) Depoy, Janet (Frank) Snow and Rona Qualls all of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren, David and Tony Snow, Tammy Stevens, Erik Wallin, and Chad, Londa, Tim and Nick Cowart; eleven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Emma (Bill) Knowlton of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Pauline Robinson of Truman Arkansas, Paul (Effie) Davis of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Jerry Davis of Harrisburg, Arkansas and Judy (Jackie) Moss of Lynchburg, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelc Qualls, in 1986. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Pastor John Davis officiating. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:30 until time of services at the Congdon Funeral Home.
