Obituary of Jerry Hogston

Jerry C. Hogston, 81, of Joliet, died February 23, 2014. Jerry was born September 4, 1932 in Indianapolis, IN. He retired from the United States Army. Jerry is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginny;" children, Clayton (Nancy), Cynthia (Michael) Bullis, Debra (Jeffery) Benson, and Victoria (Terrence) Kearney; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Caroline Christ. Preceded in death by parents Clayton and Sarah. Visitation will be Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
