Obituary of James Grahn

James R. Grahn Jr., 49,of Zion, IL, formerly of Park City, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at home. James was born February 15, 1964, in Chicago, IL. He married Pamela Hollingsworth in May of 1984 in Park City. James worked for Weil Cadillac in Libertyville for about 20 years and was currently employed for Circle Concrete in Zion. He loved to ride his Harley Motorcycle with his HOGS ownership group. Other favorite past times were fishing, camping and especially spending time with his family. Survivors include his son, Staff Sgt. Jeffrey "RECON" (Tiffany) Grahn of Fort Drum, NY; daughter, Heather Grahn of Zion, IL; grandchildren, Makayla, Joshua, and Abigail Grahn; sister, Paula (Rodney) Taylor of Zion, IL; brother, Joe (Sarah) Grahn of Zion, IL; nephews, Travis and Dallas Taylor and Joey Grahn; niece, Alexa Grahn; aunt, Kathy Grahn; cousin, Crystal Grahn; and dear family friend, Brittany Cole and her son, James. He was preceded in death by his wife Pamela in 2012; and his parents, James R. Grahn Sr. and Carol Grahn. Services are private for the family.
