Debbie, I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was always so easy to take care of in DTC, you were always there for him and your sons were always there to assist in taking him where he needed to go. Bill and I have the same birthday, so, will remember him always. God bless you and your family and help you at this time. Laurie Channell RN DTC

Although I'am a friend of KO I met Bill camping and fishing the UP. He treated me as a friend since day one. One of my favorite fishing memories is with Bill. We headed out to a honey hole he said he had not been to in a long time, cause it was a long walk 2mi to water and cutting thru private property! I was lugging a cooler along he kept telling me I was crazy.well I stashed the cooler when we got to the river. We had a great day fishing. Bill got big fish of the day only after he offered me first cast I got hung up he caught a whopper right where he told me to cast in 6 " of water! After fishing all day we hiked back got to the cooler I pulled out flanksteak chips salsa OJ and Vodka. And Big Fishy could'nt have been happier! I'm honored to have known you and fished with you. RIP Brother. Darren

One time Bill,Pat B. & I were @ Final inning playin' pool and screwin' around ,anyway Bill started to wrestle with me because he lost the game to me. So he "Bear Hugged" me and threw me flat on my back on the pool table. It took me and Pat by surprise so much the three of us laughed and laughed because I am a big guy and never thought "Fish" could body slam me on the table. I guess ya had to be there but it is a time with Bill I will never forget. He truly was a "Good Friend" and a "Good Man" I will miss him !!!

To all of Bill's family, especially sister Teresa and mother Jane: You know I'm thinking of you and wish I could attend the funeral. May you find strength during this difficult time and keep the memories of Bill close. So glad I got to see him and talk to him in November in Detroit.

The world will not be the same without your "always up to something eyes and silly grin" and that never ending bellow. Will miss you - signed, the long cool woman in the black dress aka the witch.

One year at the city dart tournament Debbie and I were competing for first/second place in our division. We asked Bill to play the jukebox for us before he left to get dinner. Rock Star continued to play over and over again for the final two matches. When we saw him we asked, "Why would you play the same song over and over?" And he said, "Cuz it was the only song I thought "C" would like. Ever since Rock Star has been our song.
