Obituary of Billie Hamilton

Hamilton, Billie 86, of Phoenix, AZ, and formerly of Zion, IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, in Phoenix. Billie was born October 5, 1927, in Sesser, IL, and married his late wife Asae "Asako" on June 19, 1963, in Fukuoka, Japan. He was a retired veteran of the United States Navy and also a retired employee of Judd Enterprises in Chicago. Billie is survived by his children, Billie (Tom) Morgan and Pamela (Stephen) Franklin; and two grandchildren, Chloe and Emily Morgan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Asae Hamilton on February 18, 2013; his parents, Roy and Pearl Hamilton; sister, Ruby Jones; and brothers, Orlie and Opal Hamilton. A Service with Military Honors will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, Illinois. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
