My sympathy and prayers are with the family of Mr and Mrs. Birky. They were my neighbors when I was 12 yrs old. I remember being at their house all the time. I was in the water show at the Zion pool and needed a covered wagon so Mr. Birky used my little red wagon and made a cover for it. It was so amazing! After all these years I called the Birkys about a month ago and it was so good to talk with them. He said he had wondered what ever had happened to my sister Jackie and I after we moved. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to let him know we both had good lives and how much I appreciated everything they did for us.
