Obituary of Dorothy Kelley

Dorothy J. Kelley, 84, of Zion, IL died on Sunday evening, January 12, 2014 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born December 3, 1929 in Zion. Dorothy retired from Lake Forest Hospital in 1993. Survivors include children Sam (Karen) Kelley of Round Lake, IL, Mike (Maria) Kelley of Gurnee, IL, Dan Kelley of Dacono, CO, and Paul Kelley of Zion, IL; eight grandchildren Sara Kelley, Samantha Kelley, Allison (Eric) Barker, David Kelley, Lindsay Kelley, Robert Sheridan, Tanya Kelley, and Brianne Kelley; one great-grandson Bryson; and siblings Lewis (Valerie) Robinson of Janesville, WI, Neal Robinson of Zion, IL, Diane (Wayne) Gabbert of Roscoe, IL, Gene Robinson of Paddock Lake, WI, and Kay Costello of Zion, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband and life partner of 37 years, Alvin H. Kelley; and by her parents Lewis and Lois Robinson. Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2014, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
