Obituary of Frederick Hartman

Frederick "Fred" Hartman, 65, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, died on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at home. He was born December 28, 1948 in Chicago, moved to Zion in 1972, and has been a resident of Winthrop Harbor for the past 10 years. Survivors include his children Dawn Hartman, Dale Hartman, and Glenn (Gilda) Hartman all of Zion, IL; and siblings Carol (Dale) Glenn of Elkhorn, WI, Lorraine (Bob) Salava of Cross Plains, WI, Patricia Hartman of Las Vegas, NV, and Frances (Phillip) Quinn of Glen Ellen, IL. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Frederick "Fritz" and Genevieve "Jenny" Hartman. Visitation will be Saturday, January 11, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
