Obituary of Josephine Angelos

Josephine M, Angelos, 90, of Waukegan, IL, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2008, at Sheridan Health Care Center in Zion. Josephine was born December 18, 1917, in Waukegan, IL, and married Joseph Angelos on May 11, 1940, at Mother of God Church in Waukegan. She was a member of Queen of Peace Church and very active in St. Mary's Lodge #75 in Waukegan for many years, where she was a recording secretary, Josephine loved cooking and playing card games and board games. Survivors include sons, Larry Angelos of Waukegan IL and Joe (Patricia) Angelos Jr. also of Waukegan, IL; grandchildren, Larry Angelos Jr., Phil Angelos, Ann McCain and Rusty Scott; and great-grandchildren, Rudy, John, Vickie, Zachary, Luke and T.J. Scott. She was preceded in death her husband, Joseph R. Angelos, Sr; a daughter, Kathleen Angelos; brother-in-law, Frank; sister-in-law, Helen; grandson, Joseph Angelos III; daughter-in-law, Ellie Angelos; and brothers, Paul, Emil, and Lawrence Banick. A Visitation will be held Thursday, March 27, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Private entombment will be Friday, March 28, 2008, at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 8430 W.
