Obituary of Marci Holm

Marci Holm, 88, of Zion, IL, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Round Lake Beach, IL. She was born October 19, 1925, in Duluth, Minnesota. Marci was a member of the Faith Home in Zion. She was formerly employed as an EEG Technician for Victory Memorial Hospital. (Now Vista Medical Center East) Marci was a woman of strong faith in the Lord. She loved to read and help with the elderly. Survivors include her daughters, Val (Mike) Mitchell of Antioch, IL, Laurie Benitez of Zion, IL, and Lynn Druce of Grayslake, IL; son Doug (Julie) Holm of Trevor, WI; grandchildren, Sally (Joe) Titus, Jeff Mitchell, Kelsey and Rob Druce, and Angelica Benitez; four great-grandchildren; nephew, Dan Hoen; and niece, Jackie Rynkieweicz. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Hoen; and her parents. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Faith Home, 2820 Eshcol Ave., Zion, IL. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Friends may greet the family on Monday, from 10: 00 a.m. until the time of service at the Faith Home. Memorial donations are suggested to the Zion Faith Home.
