Obituary of Thomas Lee

Thomas J. Lee, 46, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, died suddenly on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 the result of injuries sustained at work. He was born April 24, 1961 in Lake Forest, Illinois. On May 9, 1987 he married the love of his life Donna Vanderventer. On March 11, 2008 Donna lost the love of her life, Tom Lee. Anyone who knew Tom knew that he was the kindest, most loving, gentle man. He loved his family, his friends and his dogs "Dodger" and "Sophia". He loved most of all spending time with his wife, nephews and nieces. Survivors include his wife, Donna; his father Jim (Bernice) Lee of Waukegan; sister Holly (Rick) Hemmer of St. Louis, Missouri; his father-in-law Don Vanderventer of Waukegan; brother-in-law Jim (Nan) Vanderventer; sister-in-law Leslie (Juan) Vanderventer; brothers-in-law Don (Mary Ellen) Vanderventer and Scott (Cherri) Vanderventer; and nieces and nephews Katie (Blair) Schofield, Cory Whipple, Dillon McPherson, Devin and Katie Erdal, Scotty and Kelli Vanderventer and Wesley Schofield. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Mimi Lee; and his beloved mother-in-law Pat Vanderventer. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 128 N.Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Waukegan, Illinois 60085, where a funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m., Pastor William Owen officiating and private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 have been suggested
