Jean was born August 2, 1924, in Tarentum. She was retired from the former Anchor Glass Container, Gurnee, IL.
Survivors include a sister, Betty, ( nee, Martz) Smith of Zion, IL; and brother, James (Elsie) Martz of Tarentum, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Miller Martz; mother, Anna Jane (nee, Huey) Martz; and four sisters and six brothers,
