It was gratifying to see the outpouring of affection for Bob at Sunday's service. Bob was truly loved by many. Loren and Brandon's singing at the service was surely appreciated by Bob. We will all miss him.

Hello, I am very sorry to hear about the loss of "bob the builder". I think that the thing most of the students at CLS will miss, will be his friendly smile, his readiness to have a conversation...the open arms to all. Everday I would watch my best-friend (his grand daughter) walk into school with a smile on her face and I would (and still think) how much they have in common. In a way, his loving gestures are still in the family and may God bless you all for that. Lots of love, ~Tea~

I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a very dear friend of our family for many years. His 2 oldest daughters and I grew up together in Dixon, Illinois where he was pastor of the Nazarene Church. When my father became ill and passed away in 1964, he visited my father at the Dixon Hospital on a regular basis and was a wonderful comfort to my mother and us children when we lost our dad. He actually witnessed to my dad and as a result my dad was saved before he passed away. The most recent time I saw him was at his daughter Kim's visitation. That was shortly after my own mother had passed away and he expressed his sympathies to me and told me how much he thought of her. Bob was an amazing person and I am very blessed to have had him in my life for some wonderful spiritual guidance when I needed it the most. God Bless to your family and know that we will all be reunited with him again someday.
