Obituary of Josephine Resch

Josephine Resch (nee Zwicke), 94, of Waukegan, died November 22, 2013 at Rolling Hills Manor in Zion. Josephine was born June 18, 1919, in Marshfield, WI. She graduated from high school in Park Falls, WI. Josephine was married to Louis Resch for 38 years. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Waukegan and a member of the Waukegan Senior's club, Park Place. Josephine enjoyed taking care of her home and baking. She is survived by her grandson, Jason (Christine Simpson) Resch of Waukegan; daughter-in-law Darlene Resch of Waukegan; two sisters-in-law Helen Zwicke of Zion, and Doris Resch of Park Falls, WI; and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Resch; son, Dennis Resch; 2 sisters; and 10 brothers. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago. Memorial donations in Jospehine's name to either the Red Cross or Salvation Army would be appreciated.
