Obituary of Elizabeth Niemietz

Elizabeth "Liz" A. Niemietz, 59, of Zion, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013, in Zion She was born April 19, 1954, in Long Beach, CA, and moved to Zion in 1966. Liz was a graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School Class of 1972. She was a motor cycle enthusiast and a long time member of Lake Shore Harley. Liz also enjoyed playing pool, and had been in many local and national tournaments, one time placing 9th in the National Team 9 ball tournament. She was an avid reader and loved to solve Suduko puzzles. Survivors include her daughter, A. Michelle (Tim) Chapley of Zion; son, Timothy Niemietz of Waukegan; mother, Carol Michaelson; brothers, Marty (Leslie) Michaelson, Tom Michaelson, and Michael (Jolee) Michaelson, sister, Tina Richardson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Justin, and Dylan; and many nieces and nephews. Also; surviving are her good friends Billy & Michael Putwen and Renee Hanson. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013, from 6-9:00 p.m. at Mischief's Brewing, 72 N. Milwaukee Ave, Libertyville, IL The family has asked in lie of flowers donations be made to Safe Haven of Libertyville, www.LakeCountyHaven.org
