Obituary of Stella McCarry

Stella K. McCarry, "Aunt Honey," 86, of Zion, IL, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born March 22,1927, in North Chicago, IL, and was a resident of Barton House in Zion. Stella worked as a waitress at several restaurants in and around Waukegan and North Chicago. She was known and loved for her fun loving and caring attitude. Stella will be dearly missed by one surviving sister, Bernice Rountree of California and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tom McCarry and second husband, Bill Eshelman; 6 sisters, Mary Rutkowski, Josphine Mruk, Betty Sasavage, Eva Jones, Florence Todd and Martha Madsen. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. at Church of St. Patrick, 15000 Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth, IL. Family and friends are welcome to gather at 8:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will take place at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
