My deepest sympathy to all of you. We lost a beautiful woman, but God got a very special angel. She will never be forgotten and missed by many, but I know she will be watching over all of us from above. Rest in peace my dear Yo.

I was given the opportunity to know Mrs. Paul through my friendship with her daughter Karen. She was a wonderful woman who always made me feel welcome in her home. She won me over with her sweet demeanor and cake tops. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of grief.

Paul/Berens Family, I feel your loss but have the faith that your Mom is and always will be with you. I feel I know her well...but never met. That is a wonderful reflection on the impact she has had. Love Peter

Things I learned from Mom:
No matter how many dinners you serve with a chicken, you can always get one more meal out of it.
When there is tension in the room, ask someone to pass the rubber balls (gnoche).
Be prepared when you step in the middle of two sons having a fist fight.
Go get the wooden spoon.
Go to your room and wait 'til your father gets home.
Your face is going to freeze like that someday.
There's no shame in getting knocked down...provided you get right back up.
Your a PAUL, stand tall...head up.
