Obituary of Kathleen Barton

Kathleen Ann Barton, 50 , of Park City, IL, died on Thursday, February 14, 2008, at home. Kathleen was born February 2, 1958, in Chicago. She grew up in Cicero and lived in the Chicago area all of her life. Kathleen married Doug Barton on April 8, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived her husband of 8 years, Doug Barton; children, Michelle (Anthony) Lopez of Carol Stream, IL, Jennifer (Kevin) Middleton of Park City, IL, and Andrew Barton of Des Plaines, IL; grandchildren, Jeffrey Shane Palmer Jr., Anthony M. Lopez, and Brandon, Devin, and Aaliyah Middleton; and 3 nieces and 2 nephews . She was preceded in death by her father and mother. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment is private for the family.
