Obituary of Donna Sutherland

Donna Mae Sutherland, (nee Mitchell) 79, of Waukegan, IL, died on Sunday, October 6, 2013. Donna was born December 6, 1933, at Langlade, WI, the daughter of the late Helen and William Frank Mitchell. She moved to Zion, IL, in 1949, and graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School. She also attended the College of Lake County. She is survived by her sons, James K. Sutherland of Waukegan and Jeffery (Linda) Hankins of Wilmot, WI; brother, Robert D. Mitchell of Denver, North Carolina; sisters, Sharon Nelson of WI, and Gloria (Bill) Mason of New Hampshire. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, John Sutherland Sr. in 1985; son, John Sutherland Jr. in 2005; brother, William Gordon Mitchell in 2005; and sister, Marilyn Maas in 1958. Per the request of Donna Sutherland, funeral services will be private.
