Obituary of Greta Clegg

Greta May Clegg, 81, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, formerly of Omaha, Nebraska, died on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at home. Greta was born October 9, 1931, in Waukegan, IL, and formerly worked for Country Inn and Suites in Omaha. She was a caring woman who dearly loved her family. Greta loved to knit and crochet. Survivors include her children, Carolyn (Ron) Hudson of NV, Joyce (Jerry) Kressel of Kenosha, WI, Eugene (Michelle) Pumala and Gary Pumala, both of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Keith Pumala of Omaha, NE; 9 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Fred and Edna Mericle; sister, Marlone Pumala; daughter-in-law, Ramona Pumala, and brother-in-law, Roy Pumala. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. at the Winthrop Harbor VFW, 1112 Sheridan Rd., Winthrop Harbor. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
