Obituary of Kathleen Vogler

Kathleen Marie Vogler, 55, of Winthrop Harbor, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 3, 2008, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Kathleen was born December 14, 1952, in Antigo, WI and was employed in the restaurant business before working as a student loan counselor. She loved to windsurf and travel. Kathy spent many happy hours with her family and traveling with her sisters. Survivors include children, Matthew (Debbie) Vogler of Winthrop Harbor and Adam Michael Vogler of Zion; one granddaughter; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Phyllis (Glenn) Neahous of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Karen (Jack) Jackson of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Rhonda Yukna of Winthrop Harbor, and Kim (Ed) Krueger of St. Charles, IL; six nieces; four nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Kathy was loved by her large supportive family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Allen and Shirley Rickett; and brother, Keith Rickett in May of 2007. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, with Pastor Sandy Richey of the Church of God, Iron River, MI, officiating. Interment will be Thursday, February 7, at Langlade Cemetery, Langlade, WI. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the family.
