My sister Nancy was the best big sister when I was growing up. She took care of me when our mom and dad worked. I remember eating mayonaise and mustard sandwiches with her. She would lay me on my back on the bed that we shared and stand on either side of me and jump up and down and make me bounce and laugh.
I remember when I was around 9 she had gotten a job and I didnt have a nice coat, she went and bought me a red coat with white buttons. I sure was proud of that coat. I remember when she left Illinois and went to Colorado. I was so sad that I would not see her often. I went to visit her there and she showed me the mountains that she loved so dearly.
