Obituary of Rodney Whiteside

Rodney"Tootie" Whiteside, 70, of Waukegan, IL, died on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at the Grove at the Lake Nursing Home in Zion, IL. Survivors include his former wife Nancy and their sons, Rodney Whiteside Jr. of Waukegan, IL, and Richard (Patricia) Whiteside of Tuscaloosa,AL; grandchildren, Louis and Blake Lanciloti, Randi (Matt) Ward, Rodney Whiteside III, and Parker Whiteside; great-grandson, Alexzander Ward; daughter-in-law, Roberta Whiteside of Waukegan, IL; close niece, Sandra Scott; and numerous other nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by daughter, Rhonda Austin; brothers, Vincent Scott and Robert Whiteside; sister, Madlyn Murphy; and parents, Robert and Hester Whiteside. The family will have a private gathering to celebrate Rodney's life.
