Obituary of Rachel Dostalek

Rachel L. Dostalek, 75, of Waukegan, IL, formerly of Hamilton, AL, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan, IL, following a long illness. Rachel was born June 20, 1938, in Bexar, AL. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Rachel loved to play bingo and in her day was an excellent bowler. Survivors include her daughters, Doris (Bob) Marcinkus and Sheila (Dave) Pfeifer, both of Waukegan, IL; grandchildren, Megan Marcinkus, Bethany Sorensen, Tony Marcinkus, and Todd Sorensen; great-grandchildren, Kyla Marcinkus and Nielli Sorensen; brother, Johnny Wayne (Dean) Page of Waukegan, IL; sister, Betty (Dennis) Burton of Hamilton, AL; brother, Randall (Debby) Page of Phenix City, AL; nieces and nephews, Vickie, Lana, Lee, Adam, Sherry, Leigh, Carol, Roger, Jason, Mark , and Lisa; son-in-law, Rick Sorensen; and other family. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Thelma and Flossie Page; sister, Ann Shotts; brother, Billy Ray Page; and sister, Debby Mann. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, Il.
