Obituary of Constance Paluckis-Schaerli

Constance "Connie" Paluckis-Schaerli, 59, of Gurnee, IL, passed away peacefully among family on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Lake Forest Hospital, Lake Forest, IL. She was born June 28, 1954, in Waukegan, IL, and graduated from Waukegan Township High School in 1972. Connie belonged to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She loved gardening and caring for her plants and also had a passion for cooking for her family and her children's friends who she loved as her own. Connie adored her dogs, Leo, Lindsey, and Lacy. Survivors include her children, Marcus Schaerli of Waukegan, IL, Gabrielle Schaerli of Monmouth, IL, and Max G. Schaerli and Ross Schaerli, both of Gurnee, IL; sisters, Pam (Tim) Miller, Judy (Russ) Hendrickson both of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Lori Holland of Zion, IL. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and other close friends and family. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Anthony and June Paluckis. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at 12:00 p.m. at the Bonnie Brook Country Club, 2800 N. Lewis., Waukegan, IL. A luncheon will follow. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations are suggested to the family.
