I worked with Bev in the Lake County Recorder's Office for 3 years part time and she was always so friendly and kind to us (we were the three seniors part time). We will keep her family in our prayers during this difficult time for them.

Bev was like another little sister to me, since were neighbors on Park Ave in WH; I have known her most of my life. I always admired her hard working, yet optimistic attitude toward life. She kept things in order, yet had a wicked sense of humor and a heart full of kindness! She was full of creativity and courage, and was one of the few people I have known that you could always count on. I will miss her terribly, as I know many others will, too. Over the years, she has carved out a very special place in my heart and she will always be there..

Bev was a sweet, funny, caring person. She always made me laugh, and would often tease me on my many hairstyles. We started our battle the same year and would talk about our struggles. She always gave me words of encouragement & hope. I will remember her smile and her contagious laugh. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

I am a fellow classmate ZBTHS class of 1974. Bev has always been dear to me and I will miss her dearly. She was always so much FUN to be around, always smiling, and I will never forget her laugh. We had always kept in touch since we both work for the county. It is amazing how our classmates somehow always kept in contact with each other one way or the other over all these years. We had a wonderful time when we went to Lake Lawn Lodge last year. I am grateful for that time we had together. That was the last time I saw her. You are in heaven now Bev and I will see you again my friend. Love Deb McLin (Mattonen).

Bev's laughter could be heard all over the office and in turn made everyone laugh with her..for me, that is missed most. Bev may have lost the battle but we all know she put up one heck of a fight, her courage gave me hope and inspiration. Now I bless your passing knowing that HE has some family and friends waiting for you ..they too miss your laughter. with love to Jeff, Ryan, Andy and Kenny.

I was so sad to hear of Bev's passing. Although we didn't see each other much after school she always had a hug, huge smile, and many laughs to share when we did see each other. Bev was always the sweetest person and we are all better for knowing her. May her family find peace knowing that she was so loved by everyone and that she is no longer in pain or suffering. RIP Bev. You will be missed.

My mom worked with Bev at Zion hospital while Bev was in high school. My favorite memory/story is also the same as Rosie above.. The tiny car was a VW Bug! My mom and her remained close friends all these years, she made everyone laugh all the time, she was an inspiration to everyone she knew. Our prayers are with all of you.
