Obituary of Gene Anderson

Gene C. Anderson, 74, of Bristol, Wisconsin, died on Friday, January 25, 2008 at home. Gene was born January 23, 1934 in Zion and moved to Bristol 35 years ago. He was a life-long member of Christ Community Church of Zion where in the past he had served in the Zion Guard, as an Usher and was a leader in the youth groups both at the Church and in Door County at Camp Zion. He was a Plumber by trade for many years with Plumbers Union Local #93 out of Lake County and later served as Plumbing Inspector for the City of Lake Forest, Illinois for over 20 years. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Laurie; sons David G. (Connie) Anderson and G. Scott (Frieda) Anderson both of Bristol, Wisconsin; grandchildren David V. Anderson, Adam G. Anderson, Marcus J. Anderson, Mia M. Anderson and Elle A. Anderson; and one brother James D. Anderson of Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by one sister Ruth Usty; and his parents David K. and Alma Anderson. Services will be private for the family with cremation and burial at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, is serving the family.
