Obituary of June Schulz

June Schulz, 87, of Zion, IL died peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at home. She was born June 2, 1925 in Chicago and was a longtime resident of Zion. June enjoyed cooking and was an avid reader, but most of all she loved being mom, grandma, and great-grandma to her family. Survivors include two children Marge (Chuck) Bareika and Dan Schulz both of Waukegan, IL; four grandchildren John (Steph) Hogsett, Eric (Debbie) Hogsett, Bryan (Kareen) Bareika, and Roxanne Bareika; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry; seven siblings; and her parents. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to C.O.O.L.
