Obituary of Linda Kelly

Linda Carol Kelly, 60, of Waukegan, IL died on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at home following a long illness. Linda was born November 16, 1951 in Tupelo, MS, came to this area at an early age and was raised in Gurnee, IL. She worked as a waitress at both the Golden Bear Restaurant and more recently at Avalon Restaurant. Survivors include her children Larry (Crista Janes) Gross of Wonder Lake, IL and Christopher (Cynthia) Wright of Uvalde, TX; one granddaughter, Karisa Wright; and siblings Larry Spencer Kelly of Aberdeen, MS and Patsy Zapata of Brownstown, IL. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Spencer and Retha Kelly. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2011, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
