So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I had not seen him since graduation from ZBTHS. We spent many good times together in Scouts, and I recall Bob was the 1st of our group to achieve Eagle Scout, followed soon after by myself, Jim Spice and Fritz Angelos. My sympathies to Bob's Mom, family and friends. Phil Carey

Pat and I would like to send our condolences to the family! Pat had know Bob since the 70's. Pat worked on Bob's vehicles, and they were also friends. Pat will miss Bob stopping by to talk about cars. I knew Bob as his Mother was our neighbor. He was a wonderful Son to his Mother, always helping take care of her! He was a Son to be proud of! We will miss him!! He is in our thoughts today and always!!

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I tried to attend the wake but could not find the church! Merle, I plan to come see you. I think of you often. We will have Howard's daughter visiting for the next 10 days, and will be traveling, but maybe after that! Love, Arlie

I am an Abbott employee and really got to know Bob when we were working at the North Chicago plant in L3. He was the kindest and nicest guy that anyone could ever know! He had a chance to meet my husband; we loved talking with him about his Corvettes and other cars. He recommended an interior painter to us in 1997. Eleven years later, that painter is by far the best creftsman to have done work in our home. The last time I saw Bob was at ALEC late last spring. He looked great. I did not even know he was sick, but I from correspondence with other Abbott friends, I guess he was undergoing chemo. Everyone will miss his wonderful, gentle soul. We feel priveledged that we had the fortune to know him...

Hello, I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and read about Mr. Kyrk's death. I am very sorry to hear about this. A scripture that comforts me is at Revelation 21:3,4. It talks about the resurrection of the dead. It is a very comforting thought to me that God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more. It is such a comforting thought. I again am very sorry about your loss. one of Jehovah's Witnesses
