Obituary of Margaret Reid

Margaret L. Reid, 68, of Waukegan, died February 9, 2013. Margaret was born April 3, 1944 in Waukegan. She graduated from Waukegan High School in 1962, then married Joseph R. Reid in 1963 in Waukegan. She had been employed at Omron and Northwest Molding. Margaret was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and gardening at home. Margaret's greatest joy in life was her family, she was dedicated to her husband, children and grandchildren. Margaret is survived by her children Kimberly (Scott) Gamble (nee Reid), and Richard J. (Beth) Reid; five grandchildren, Scott Reid, Morgan Gamble, Samantha Reid, Shane Reid, and Taylor Gamble; one great-grandchild Tabitha; sister Joann (David) Faro; one brother Robert Walker; brother-in-law David Faro and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Joseph; parents Irvin and Naomi Walker; sister-in-law Tanya Walker; niece Ami Faro; and nephew Jody Walker. Services will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at NorthPoint Christian Church, 900 N. Lewis Ave, Winthrop Harbor, IL.
