Obituary of Richard Jensen

Richard E. "Dick" Jensen, 79, of Waukegan, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at home. Dick was born May 24, 1933, in Waukegan. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Dick retired from the Waukegan Public Work Department after about 26 years of employment and was Owner/Operator of Camping Enterprises in Pleasant Prairie, WI. He enjoyed camping with his family and was extremely handy with tools. Survivors include his wife, Jenna; children, Jodi Anderson of Beach Park, IL, and Richard W. (Amy) Jensen of Waukegan, IL; grandchildren, Brooke and Michael Jensen, Sarah Anderson, and Jennifer Demo; step-grandchildren, Alecia and Amber; sister, Judith Bittner of Rolling Meadows, IL; and nieces Jackie King and Julie Baldacini. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Jensen; son-in-law, Bruce Anderson; and parents, Ernest and Josephine Jensen. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan, Zion, IL. Friends may greet the family on Sunday from 4:00 p.m until the time of service at the funeral home Interment is private for the family.
