We are so sorry for you loss and are in our thoughts and prayers. Lou put up such a fight and beat odds so many times until our Heavenly Father needed him up in heaven. Glioblastomas are the harshest condition to deal with for everyone involved. We pray that God will give you healing through this difficult time and a peace of mind that Lou is enjoying his time now with his heavenly family!

When I was younger, about age 19, I me Jack through an entire group of people we all hung around with. Our group consisted of about 8-10 of us. I will not mention their names as I am speaking for myself. Jack as we all called him back then was extremely sweet, kind, considerate and very very funny. I(We) had a lot of fun together. Our group did many things together and we were pretty close as I recall. Those were some of the best times I ever had. Occasionally I would see him in the Dr's office because we went to the same doctor. I was shocked and saddened to see he had passed away at such a young age. But the memories will last a lifetime.
I give my condolences to Melba (I met her once) at Carrie's house, Jim, his brother, Kim his sister and all the other family members. May God keep you in his care at this time and the days to come as you grieve.
I will forever miss you Jack. You are now a heavenly being and it's nice to know someone up their besides God and his heavenly angels.

I never forget a face. Louis & I worked together in the Press Room, on third shift at Tempel Steel Co. in Libertyville for about 8 years or more. I worked side by side with him many of times on the same machine. I can still hear his deep chuckling laugh when telling a joke or just chatting together before going to our machines. It saddened me to see his picture after so many years ago. I last saw Louis in November of 2002 when I left Tempel Steel Co. But it's funny ya know, how we can get to know someone through many years of working together, but so little time to socialize when providing for our families. I might not know him deeply, but I know him well enough to tell you about his Character, His Laugh, smile, and jokes. But I know one thing for sure, Louis was a good man through & through. It is with these thoughts & through knowing what I knew of him that I give my deepest & sincerest condolences to his wife, kids & family. With love, Jimmy Garner & Family.
