Obituary of Terry Grinus

Terry L. Grinus, 66, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his brother, son and grandson after a long illness on January 1, 2013. Terry was born September 21, 1946 in Waukegan, Illiniois. Terry and his brother Glenn owned and operated the family tool store for 35 years. Terry was a lifetime H.O.G. member. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed gambling. Terry is survived by his loving children, Tracy (Alisha) Grinus, Cheryl Grinus and son-in-law Scott Maynard; grandchildren, Jessi, Cody, Cory, Miranda, and Chase Grinus, and Brandon and Sadie Maynard; his brother, best friend and caretaker, Glenn (Patti) Grinus; nephew, Allen Grinus; former wife, Sandra Ward; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Barney and Shirley Grinus. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Interment will be private for the family.
