Obituary of Dan Colboth

Dan Colboth, 65, of Wadsworth, IL born November 1947 lost his battle to cancer on December 30, 2012. He was first diagnosed in December 2010. Dan graduated from Warren Township High School in 1965 and was a professional local truck driver since 1968, most recently employed at Waukegan Steel Sales for 20 years. Dan is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Bea Colboth; three children, Craig Colboth of Zion, IL, Sheri Roberson (Rodger) of Twin Lakes, WI and Lisa Woodman (Bill) of Zion, IL; four grandchildren, Billy, Katie, Ashley and Cody Woodman; his brother, Darrell (Fran) Colboth of Waukegan; two nieces, Christine Cliff (Rob) and Jennifer Colboth. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Zelma Colboth. The Colboth family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Hospice Alliance of SE WI, Oncology-Hematology Assoc. of Northern IL and to a very speoial friend, Wendi Barnes, whom he held close to his heart for guiding strength throughout his battle against cancer. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Interment will follow at Millburn Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 until the time of the service.
