Obituary of Gary Lambert

Gary Steven Lambert, 49, of Zion went to be with his Lord on Monday, December 31, 2007, in Zion. He was born October 8, 1958, in Waukegan and lived in Zion for most of his life. He was a strong and powerfully-built man who deeply loved his family. He previously worked in public works for the City of Lake Forest. Gary was a loving husband, father, brother and son. Gary is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jeannetta; three children Stephanie (Christian) Hoffman of Beach Park and Robert and Adam Lambert both at home; his parents Harvey (Sandy) Lambert Sr. Of Grayslake and Elsie Lambert of Marietta, Oklahoma; five brothers Harvey (Kathy) Lambert Jr. Of Milton, Florida, Terry Lambert of Libertyville, Michael (Elizabeth) Lambert of Winthrop Harbor, Greg (Jenny) Lambert of Zion, and Jeff (Shelley) Lambert of Libertyville; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday January 3, 2008 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Church, 1821 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Pastor Les Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Gary's name to Lakeview Church.
