Obituary of Helen Ondrla

Helen M. Ondrla, 93, of Chicago, died December 26, 2007, after a brief illness. Born August 31,1914, in Chicago, Helen retired from Motorola Corp. in Franklin Park after nearly 30 years of employment. She was loving "Auntie" Helen to everyone she knew. Survived by beloved nieces, Marge and Paula Illich, Dorothy Dymit, nee Maruska, Judith (John) Tremore, nee Ondrla, Paulette (Raymond) Simpson, nee Ondrla, Mary Ann McCollough, nee Ondrla; loving nephew, Edward (Nancy) Maruska; fond nieces-in-law, Henrietta and Dorothy Kurfirst; dear sister-in-law, Agnes Ondrla; many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews and dear friends. Preceded by father and mother Paul and Eva Ondrla; sisters, Elizabeth (Joseph) Kurfirst, Julia (Edward) Maruska, Irene (Frank) Illich; brother, Paul Ondrla; and nephews, Robert, Joseph, and Edward (Ruth) Kurfirst, Richard Dymit and Dean McCollough.
