Obituary of Roy DuPree

Roy DuPree, 81, of Beach Park, IL died on Saturday, December 22, 2007, at the Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion. Roy was born July 24, 1926, in Lake Linden, MI, and was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Beach Park. He founded DuPree Sewer Service in 1952 in Beach Park and owned and operated the company since it's inception. Roy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Myrtle; son, Doug (Carrie Velardi) DuPree of Beach Park; granddaughter, Jennifer DuPree of Winthrop Harbor, IL; brothers, Donald (Emily) DuPree of Zion, IL and Robert (Patricia) DuPree of Eau Claire, WI; brother-in-law, John Samuelian; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Judy Swartz, Jack and Marge Morris, Tennis and Bunny Morris, and Orville and Nancy Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Joseph and Isabell DuPree; sons, Dale and Andrew DuPree; sister, Dorothy Vestal; brothers, Jim and Ted DuPree; sisters-in-law, Marge Samuelian and Donna Holland; brother-in-law, Aaron Holland; mother-in-law, Sadie Adams. Memorial services are private for the family.
