Obituary of Cynthia Pohlman

Cynthia Lilly Pohlman, 19, of Beach Park, died on October 19, 2007, the result of an auto accident. Cynthia was born July 12, 1988 in Libertyville and she graduated from Waukegan Township High School, Class of 2006. She attended Wesley Church in Waukegan and she was employed as assistant office manager at Lloyd Orthodontics in Libertyville. Cynthia was involved in Girl Scouts all of her life and she was a Cheerleader while in high school. Survivors include her father and step-mother, Kenneth George and Joellyn Pohlman of Beach Park; siblings Jessica Diaz of Indiana, Nelly Diaz of Chicago, Keith (Sarah) Cartwright of Mundelein, Monica Pohlman of Beach Park, Jacqellen Cartwright of Beach Park and Irene Mendoza of Waukegan; three nieces; four nephews; and cousins, including Kirstillyn Pohlman of Winthrop Harbor, aunts, uncles and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Maria Nelly Mendoza; and her grandmother Lois Pohlman. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 23, 2007, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 24th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Memorial donations to the family have been suggested.
