Obituary of Barbara Dunn

Barbara Lois Dunn, 63, of Winthrop Harbor, died on Monday, October 1, 2007 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville. Barbara was born May 2, 1944 in Marked Tree, Arkansas and came to Zion at the age of 14. She attended Winthrop Harbor United Methodist Church. Barbara retired from Chrysler Motors in Kenosha, Wisconsin after 15 years and prior to that worked at Johnson Motors in Waukegan. Survivors include her husband, Tim; children Marshall (Nora Beth) Chambers of Janesville, Wisconsin, Barbara Czarnota of Libertyville, Illinois and Steven (Nicole) Chambers of El Paso, Texas; three step-children Rhonda (John) Monks of Sturtevant, Wisconsin, Kevin (Karen) Dunn of Racine, Wisconsin and Amy (Douglas) Nunziato of Augusta, Georgia; eleven grandchildren; one brother Lawrence (Joan) Taylor of Winthrop Harbor; and one sister Betty Jane (Tom) Prockish of Cleveland, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her twin sister Marilyn Taylor; one brother James Marshall Taylor; and her parents Marshall and Opal Taylor. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., with a memorial service following at 7:00 p.m, Pastor Ron Greene officiating. Memorial donations to Appalachian Service Project, c/o Winthrop Harbor United Methodist Church, 600 College Avenue, Winthrop Harbor, IL 60096 has been suggested.
