Obituary of Michele Jaronik

Michele Jaronik, nee Stolarik, 59, of Beach Park, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. Michele was born on January 31, 1948, in Waukegan, and was a 4th grade teacher at Cooke Magnet School in Waukegan for 23 years. After leaving the class room, Michele continued to work for the Waukegan School District as the school improvement and gifted program coordinator. She was a voracious reader, loved to sew and garden, and thoroughly enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends. Michele is survived by her husband of 32 years, Edward; daughter, Casey Jaronik; son, Adam (Shannon) Jaronik; mother, Mary Stolarik, sister, Barbara (Darryl) Bennett; brother, Michael (Gail) Stolarik; sister, Leslie (Steve) Strezo; brother, Jon (Renee) Stolarik; father-in-law, Edward Jaronik Sr. and many nieces and nephews. Michele was preceded in death by her father, Mike Stolarik; and mother-in-law, Ceridwen Jaronik. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, at 10:30 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Interment will be private for the family. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, 2007, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
