Obituary of Frieda Geske

Frieda E. Geske., 87, of Zion died on Sunday, September 16, 2007, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Frieda was born August 16, 1920, in Wittenberge, Germany, and was a charter member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Zion. Survivors include son, Terry (Kathy) Geske of Hot Springs Village, AR, daughter, Gail Flurry of Waukegan, Il, and son, Michael (Cathy) Geske of Wadsworth, IL; grandchildren, Dawn Cothran of Park City, IL, Steven (Erin) Flurry of East Hartford, CT, Christopher (Nicole) Geske of LA, Deeanna (Ralph) Ross also of LA, and Scott and Jonathan Geske of Wadsworth, IL; six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland "Butch" Geske; brothers, Herbert, Walter, William and Edward Mohn; and sister, Elsie Dracos. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL , with Rev. Jack Kelly of Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Zion, officiating. Private entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Friends may greet the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
