Obituary of Rod Dukowitz

Rod Dukowitz, 52, of Gurnee, Illinois, died on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Sheridan Health Care Center in Zion. Rod was born August 16, 1954 in Racine, Wisconsin and grew up in Winthrop Harbor. He was employed as a printed circuit board Designer for Cad Service in Schaumburg, Illinois. He was also a Veteran, having served with the United States Navy in the early 1970's. Rod was a devoted husband, father and grand-father and he loved his family deeply. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Pat; children Cherish (Phillip) Gillett of Gurnee, Rod (Kelly) Dukowitz II of Ohio and David Dukowitz of Gurnee; six grandchildren; and siblings Cindy (Dennis) Parry of Beach Park, Linda (Mike) Anhock of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, Karen (Shawn) Sloan of Beach Park and Danny (Melissa) Dukowitz of Park City. He was preceded in death by his parents David and LaDine Dukowitz; granddaughter Kayla; and brother David Dukowitz. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 20, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with private cremation to follow. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the Congdon Funeral Home.
