We were so sorry to hear about Uncle Gene. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I have so many fond memories of visits to Zion in the summers when I was growing up. Uncle Gene and Aunt Pudge often provided us with the most amazing fish fry. And the rest of the food was always fabulous. We had fun playing volleyball in the front yard and talking, talking, talking. Gene always had some great stories. I remember meals at Rooks with out-of-this-world pies and strawberry crepes. And I enjoyed the visits that Uncle Gene and Aunt Pudge made to my family after I was married. The fun time we had in Platte, South Dakota. Pudge - Remember the Fudge Nut Davies at Boom's Drive In. And then you also came to see us in your motor home shortly after we moved to Lee's Summit, Missouri. Thank you, thank you for making time to visit us. I wish we could all get together more often.
