Obituary of Steve Reynolds

Steve W. Reynolds, 56, of Zion, died on Saturday, August 4, 2007, at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee. Steve was born April 10, 1951, in Waukegan, IL, and was a 1969 graduate of Zion-Benton Township High School. He was a 30 year employee of Johns-Manville and was currently employed by Motion Industries in Waukegan He is survived by his wife Jeanne (nee Miller); daughters, Anita Michelle (Tim) Chapley of Zion,IL, and Nicole Catherine Benitez of Waukegan, IL; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Justin and Dylan Chapley and Lydia and Lucas Benitez; brother, Toney Reynolds, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sister, Barbara Allen of Round Lake, IL; brothers- in-law, Roy, Tom, and William (Cindy) Miller; sister-in-law, Carol (Ed) Borowy; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, R B Reynolds and Catherine Flannery. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, with Pastor Ken Langley of Christ Community Church of Zion, officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m., on Tuesday, until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, Chicago Office, 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL 60602 According to Steve's wishes, his cremains will be placed at a special site in Arizona.
