Jeff Reed posted a condolence

On behalf of my family, I extend our condolences on Uncle Winfield's passing. Because of Christ's redemptive work received by faith, Winfield is experiencing fullness of life with his Savior. When in Florida, Winfield attended Dr. D. James Kennedy's church. Dr. Kennedy once said, "When I die, don't cry for me, for I will be far more alive with Christ than I ever was here on earth." This is a great Bible truth. And so it is with Winfield! I grieve the temporary separation, however, I rejoice in looking forward to the eternal reunion. All this is real and possible through the person and work of Jesus Christ received simply by trusting in him. Penny and Rick, my prayer is that you and your families will know the gracious comfort and peace of Christ in your grief. I also pray that your sadness will be displaced by a shared faith with your dad in the atoning work of the Lord. Sincerely in Christ, Jeff and Becky Reed
