Obituary of Linda Sexton

Linda Jane Sexton, 50, of Waukegan, IL passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2007 at home. She was born May 1, 1957 in Waukegan, IL. She lived in Rushville, IN for 20 years before returning home two years ago. Linda enjoyed her grandchildren, swimming, gardening, horseback riding and antiquing. Survivors include a daughter, Megan (Manuel) Martinez; a son, Barry Hodnik Jr.; mother, Barbara Sexton; grandchildren, Kaytlyn Hutchinson, Alyssia, Isabel and Julian Martinez; two sisters, Sandra Jokinen and Catherine (Dan) Thornton; a brother, Harold E. Sexton; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Harley Degan; father, Harold E. Sexton Sr.; brother, Thomas E. Sexton; and nephew, Blue Sexton. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 11 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2720 N. McAree Rd., Waukegan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her family.
