I attended Holy Child High School with Sharon. I think she was there only our Freshman year. We had a lot of fun together and remained good friends for several years after. We drifted apart eventually, but Sharon and my dad would often run into each other around town. If any of the family sees this post, please know how sad I am to learn of Sharon's passing--and so long after the fact. I remember her with great fondness. I am sorry for your loss.

I went to Holy Child HS with Sharon and she was a sweet lady. It is comforting to hear what a wonderful woman she had become My sympathy to all her family and friends. I will keep her in my prayers.

Sharon and I went to grade school together at OLH. We also graduated from high school together. This is a very tragic loss, and prayers go out to her family. Withut a doubt, a very sweet person.

I met Sharon at the Waukegan dog park where her dog Jasper and my dog Ganny would play together. When the weather turned colder, I invited Sharon to my house where we could stay in the comfort of my kitchen while the dogs romped in my big backyard. Sharon was always kind and considerate. She'd bring coupons and lunch for me and stuffed animals for Ganny to chew up and destroy. We shared stories and laughs while the dogs wore each other out. Unfortunately, I moved but still kept in contact with Sharon, talking to her on the phone just a few weeks ago. She was a great person and will be missed.

This is like the 5th time I have come to this page today. I just don't know what to write. Thanks for being my Aunt. Thanks for loving me, picking on me and feeding me banana's even when you hated them. Thanks for the memories. I am sure you, Daddy and Grandpa are looking down on me laughing because I told the story about the time Daddy locked you in the outhouse on facebook. You will be missed. RIP Aunt Sharon. I love you!

Condolences to the entire Mirr family. I first met Sharon when she was dispatching at the Winthrop Harbor Police/Fire station in the late 70's. My father was a police officer in the Harbor at the time, and she was amazing to see her in action! She could keep her cool in any situation. She was also my Avon Lady! I lost contact with her when I moved away for several years, but I am now back in Zion. Several times in the last few years I have had to call the Zion police and I could still recognize her voice and I knew my concerns were in good hands. I am shocked at her sudden passing and the world seems a bit more empty without her here. Please know that prayers are being sent heavenward on your family's behalf in hopes the Holy Spirit will carry you thru this period of grief.
