Obituary of Vincent Mathias

Vincent J. Mathias Jr., 75, of Waukegan, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 surrounded by his family. Vince was born November 20, 1931 in North Chicago, Illinois. He was employed with Outboard Marine Corporation for 44 years. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Carole; children Linda (Rick) Ruzga of Mukwonago, Wisconsin and David Mathias of Waukegan; granddaughters Annie and Kayleigh; along with his nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Frances; one brother Joe; and his faithful companion "T". A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with private cremation to follow. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the Funeral Home.
